These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.aitextcleaner.cc and the AI Text Cleaner browser-based text cleaning, inspection and analysis tools (the "Service"). The Service is operated under the AI Text Cleaner brand. Questions about these Terms, subscriptions or refunds should be sent to [email protected].
Paid subscriptions are not active until a checkout page explicitly displays a plan and price. When subscriptions launch, the checkout page and your account will show the plan-specific price, billing interval and any additional terms. This page is the governing framework for that subscription service.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using the Service, creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan or selecting an acceptance checkbox at checkout, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, can enter a binding agreement, have read these Terms and agree to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
AI Text Cleaner provides browser-local tools that inspect and transform copied text, including invisible Unicode characters, unusual spaces, Markdown and formatting artifacts. The tools are intended to make text easier to review and reuse. The Service does not determine who authored text, certify that text is human-written, or guarantee that a statistical AI watermark or an AI detector result can be removed.
Text entered into the tools is processed in your browser and is not submitted to our application server. Availability may be affected by browsers, networks, hosting providers or other third-party infrastructure.
3. Accounts and security
Some paid features may require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to [email protected]. Do not share an account or use another person's payment method without authorization. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security measures.
4. Subscription plans
When enabled, we will offer monthly and/or annual subscription plans. The checkout page will identify the features, price, currency, billing interval and start date for the selected plan. We may introduce, change or discontinue plans and features. Changes to an active subscription will be communicated in advance where required by law and will not remove mandatory consumer rights.
5. Billing and payment
5.1 Automatic renewal
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize AI Text Cleaner and our payment processor, Waffo Pancake, to charge the payment method shown at checkout for each billing interval until you cancel. A monthly subscription renews monthly; an annual subscription renews annually. We will send a renewal notice for annual plans where required or where the checkout process promises one.
5.2 Taxes and invoices
Prices are shown at checkout. Applicable VAT, GST, sales tax or similar charges may be added where required. Waffo Pancake may provide payment receipts or invoices. We do not store full payment card numbers on our server.
6. Cancellation
When account billing is available, you may cancel from the account subscription settings. You may also request cancellation by emailing [email protected] from the billing email address. Cancellation stops the next renewal; unless applicable law requires otherwise, access remains available until the end of the current paid period. We will confirm an email cancellation request within two business days.
7. Refunds
Paid subscriptions are digital services delivered immediately. Unless mandatory law provides a stronger right, subscription fees are non-refundable after a billing period begins, except as follows:
- A first-time subscriber may request a refund within 7 days of the first charge if the Service has not been materially used.
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error will be refunded in full.
- If a failure caused by us makes the paid Service unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours, we may provide a proportional refund or service extension.
- Any statutory cancellation, withdrawal or refund right that applies to you remains available.
To request a refund, email [email protected] with the account email, transaction identifier and reason. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and, when approved, return funds through the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
8. Billing disputes
If you do not recognize a charge or believe it is incorrect, contact us before initiating a bank dispute when possible. We aim to respond within two business days and correct verified billing errors promptly. This does not limit any rights provided by your card issuer or applicable law.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain your rights in text you enter and in your lawful use of the resulting text. You grant us only the limited rights needed to provide support and operate the Service. We do not use tool input or output to train an AI model. AI Text Cleaner, its software, design, name and original content remain our property or the property of our licensors.
You are responsible for ensuring that text you process and publish does not infringe another person's rights or violate law. You should review cleaned text before relying on it.
10. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- upload or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, sexually exploitative of minors, or intended to facilitate violence;
- infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trade secret or other rights;
- use the Service to create malware, phishing content, attacks or instructions that enable harm;
- interfere with security, rate limits, availability or another user's access;
- scrape the Service at scale, resell access or share paid access without written permission;
- misrepresent cleaned text as proof of human authorship, use it to evade academic or professional disclosure rules, or rely on it as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
We may limit, suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms, creates security or legal risk, or involves fraud.
11. Privacy and payment data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information. Waffo Pancake processes payment card data as our PCI-DSS payment processor; full card data is not stored on our application server. Your use of Waffo Pancake checkout may also be subject to Waffo's terms and privacy policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, that every transformation will be correct, or that output will satisfy a particular editor, detector, search engine or platform. Invisible-character cleanup and formatting conversion are not a promise to bypass text watermarking or remove a model-level watermark.
Do not use the Service or its output as a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, academic-integrity or other professional advice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Text Cleaner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of data, profits or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the paid Service is limited to the amount you paid us for that Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Term and termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may stop using the free Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement or discontinuation of the Service. If we terminate an active paid subscription for a reason other than your breach, we will provide a proportional refund for unused prepaid access where required or appropriate.
15. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here and, where reasonably practicable, notified at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and AI Text Cleaner about the Service.
16. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating AI Text Cleaner, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Before paid subscriptions are activated, the checkout and an updated version of these Terms will identify the provider's legal entity and registered jurisdiction.
