AI Text Cleaner ("AI Text Cleaner", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use www.aitextcleaner.cc and its browser-based text cleaning, inspection and analysis tools (the "Service").
Local text cleaning, inspection and document batches run in your browser without uploading document content. Optional AI rewriting and polishing are different: only after your explicit request and consent, the submitted passage, protected terms and style instructions are sent through our application server to the configured AI provider. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.
1. Data controller and contact
The Service is operated under the AI Text Cleaner brand. The operator’s verified legal name and address are disclosed below when configured. For privacy, data, billing or legal questions, contact [email protected].
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Contact information: your email address and the contents of messages you send to our support address.
- Google account information: your stable Google identifier, verified email, basic profile name and optional avatar. We never receive your Google password. OAuth access and refresh tokens may be stored encrypted for authentication; server-side sessions expire after 30 days unless renewed or signed out.
- Subscription information: when you purchase Pro, we process the plan, invoice and transaction identifiers, payment status and entitlement information needed to provide and manage access.
Local tools do not send document text to us. AI editing sends only the text and preferences submitted in that request. Please do not include sensitive text in support email unless necessary to resolve your request.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Operational logs: request method, URL path, response timing and error information used to operate and secure the site.
- Device and network information: our hosting, security and delivery providers may process IP address, browser, device and approximate region information as part of delivering HTTPS traffic.
- Optional product counters: when explicitly enabled by the operator, anonymous event counts record which cleaner was used and whether an upgrade was clicked. No document text, email, IP address or persistent visitor identifier is stored with these counters. This version does not load a third-party analytics SDK.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for statistics and product decisions. That information is not intended to identify you.
4. Text and document processing
Free local tools and Pro document batches process text and file bytes on your device. ZIPs, folder exports and reports are generated locally; reports contain file metadata and change counts, not document text. The editor saves the current draft and up to five recent versions in this browser, with size limits. Style and term preferences are saved locally only when you choose to save them. You can delete these using the editor, account page or browser settings. Clipboard contents and downloaded files must be deleted separately on your device.
Optional cloud AI editing
AI editing sends the submitted text and instructions only after consent. The default integration uses OpenRouter, with data-collection opt-out and zero-data-retention route requirements. If the operator changes providers, the disclosed provider and applicable terms must be updated before enabling that integration. No input or output is stored in our database or application logs. A completed response may remain in process memory for up to five minutes for idempotent retries; drafts and versions remain in browser storage until you delete them.
5. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

The Service does not require advertising cookies to process text. If analytics or another optional technology is enabled in the future, its provider and policy will be identified here or in an appropriate notice.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to provide the Service, comply with law or protect the Service:
- Identity provider: Google processes the OAuth sign-in request and provides the limited account fields described above under Google's privacy terms.
- Payment processing: when checkout is enabled, Waffo Pancake and Waffo.com Limited process checkout, taxes, payment card data, receipts and refunds as payment processor and merchant of record. Full card numbers are not stored on our application server.
- Hosting, delivery and security providers: providers that host, deliver or protect the website may process limited technical data under their contractual obligations.
- Optional product counters: when explicitly enabled by the operator, anonymous event counts record which cleaner was used and whether an upgrade was clicked. No document text, email, IP address or persistent visitor identifier is stored with these counters. This version does not load a third-party analytics SDK.
- Legal and business events: information may be disclosed to comply with lawful requests or in a merger, acquisition or transfer, subject to continuing confidentiality duties.
7. Security
We use HTTPS in production, PKCE and one-time OAuth state, HttpOnly session cookies, server-side session records, encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens, authenticated APIs, input limits and payment webhook signature verification. Submitted AI text and output are not persisted in our application database, analytics or application logs. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Required security incident notifications follow applicable law.
8. Retention
AI usage metadata (account identifier, request identifier, keyed fingerprint, character count, status and timing; no document text) is retained for up to 90 days. Expired authentication sessions and verification records are removed during routine cleanup. Account/profile records remain while the account is active or otherwise needed; request deletion by email. Billing, tax and dispute records may need longer retention under applicable legal requirements. The five-minute AI result cache is memory-only and disappears on process restart.

Legal obligations, dispute resolution and security investigations may require a longer period. We keep only what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we process, request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent. Send a request to [email protected]; we aim to respond within 30 calendar days, subject to lawful identity verification and extensions allowed by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Marketing and transactional messages
We do not currently send promotional marketing messages. If this changes, marketing will require consent where required and will include an unsubscribe method. Necessary service, security, billing and policy notices cannot be unsubscribed from while you use the relevant Service.
11. International transfers
Our hosting, payment and analytics providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
12. Children
The Service is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
13. Third-party links and services
Google sign-in is governed by Google's privacy terms. The website may also link to third-party websites, including related sites and payment pages. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This policy applies only to information AI Text Cleaner controls directly.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. For a material change, we will provide notice through the website or registered contact email at least 15 days before the change takes effect when reasonably practicable, and we will update the date at the top of this page.
